Celebrating Digital Print Design

Celebrating Digital Print Design

Digital print design is the perfect media for capturing magical realism.

The images below are Habotai silk swatches inspired by everyday objects photographed at home and whilst on holiday in Northumberland and Cornwall. When you look at something ordinary for long enough you may start to see it in a “different light”

Love to see geometric patterns and organic forms working together in harmony.

A day out in London

London this summer is vibrant with colour, action and pattern.  A break from the countryside drew my attention to manmade patterns and movement in the city. We were too busy dashing between numerous art galleries to pause and sketch so now I can’t wait to start drawing and composing from all these rhythmic shapes and colours.

Sonya Delaunay at the Tate Modern and the Summer Exhibition 2015 at the Royal Academy were a treat for colour fanatics!
